Living soundscapes presented as they occurred without overdubbing, gathered in Burma, 2008 (Nyaungshwe, Sagaing, Maing Thauk, Kyaya Sar Kone).
Featuring frogs, boat hull, canal, amplified chanting of monks, and more.
This is a mix of field recordings I gathered while in Burma. There are a couple of very beautiful and interesting Buddhist monk chanting recordings on this one - the last recording on the disc features an amplified monk chanting through a loudspeaker system as I walked away from it, capturing the ever changing delay of the sound as it bounced off the roofs of wooden houses.
It is peaceful, with strange moments and musical environments of the actual locations, pure and un-affected.
This CDr is great for playing while getting something done, and relaxing also; ear-photography for the mind.
